(PS6)Noise Transmission of Plates Subjected to Acoustic Excitation

In order to precisely evaluate transmission loss of thin walls, the sound power radiating from a rectangular plate subjected to acoustic excitation on the opposite side was estimated based on semianalytical modal analysis of the plate. It was confirmed that the frequency spectrum of the radiating sound power due to the acoustic excitation by plane or spherical acoustic wave of sinusoidal or impulsive source or random incident acoustic wave could be precisely estimated with the proposed method.
